Cyberxperts

Services

Penetration Testing

Controlled testing of your network, applications, and infrastructure to identify exploitable weaknesses before attackers do.

Overview

Cyberxperts performs vulnerability assessments and penetration testing across networks, web applications, mobile applications, APIs, and cloud environments. Recent engagements include network security and penetration testing for Egoli Gas, Reatile, CNG Group, the National Nuclear Regulator, and PanSALB.

Problems this addresses

  • Unverified assumptions about network or application security
  • No recent independent testing of externally facing systems
  • Uncertainty about exposure following infrastructure or application changes
  • Compliance or client requirements for independent security testing

Benefits

Independent, evidence-based identification of exploitable vulnerabilities

Clear, prioritised remediation guidance

Testing experience across regulator and private sector environments

Coverage across network, web, mobile, API, and cloud environments

Our process

01

Scoping

We define systems in scope, testing type, and rules of engagement.

02

Testing

Controlled testing is performed using a combination of commercial and open-source tooling.

03

Validation

Findings are validated to confirm exploitability and impact.

04

Reporting

A detailed report covering findings, risk ratings, and remediation guidance.

Frequently asked questions

Will testing disrupt our live systems?

Testing is scoped and conducted in a controlled manner, with rules of engagement agreed in advance to manage risk to live systems.

Do you test cloud environments?

Yes, including AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud security assessments alongside network and application testing.

What determines the cost and duration of a penetration test?

The number and complexity of systems, user roles, access arrangements and testing restrictions determine the effort required. Reporting and any retesting should be included in the agreed scope. A useful quotation starts with your objectives and a system inventory rather than a fixed price per website.

What should we receive after testing?

Agree the deliverables before work starts. These should explain what was tested, the limitations, validated findings, business impact and recommended actions. Confirm whether a findings discussion and retesting are included. Testing provides evidence about the agreed systems at the time of the engagement; it does not guarantee that every weakness will be found.
